By accessing or using Logly ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Logly is a cloud-based logging platform designed for indie developers. The Service provides log collection, storage, real-time streaming, search, and AI-powered analysis through SDKs and APIs. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to update it as needed.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
  • Transmit malware, viruses, or any harmful code through the Service
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems
  • Store sensitive personal data (e.g., passwords, credit card numbers, health records) in log messages
  • Use the Service to build a competing product or service
  • Exceed rate limits or abuse the Service in a way that degrades performance for other users
  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the Service without prior written consent

5. Your Data

You retain all rights to the log data you submit to the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and analyze your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you, including AI-powered insights. We will not share your log data with third parties except as necessary to provide the Service or as required by law.

6. Pricing & Payments

Logly offers a free tier and paid plans. Pricing is subject to change with 30 days' notice. Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Refunds are provided on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the free tier at any time.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We are not liable for any downtime, data loss, or service interruptions. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance when possible.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, branding, documentation, and all related intellectual property, is owned by Logly. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service. The Logly name, logo, and all related marks are trademarks of Logly.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Logly shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Logly, its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may delete your account at any time through the dashboard or by contacting us. Data deletion upon account termination is subject to our data retention policy.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of the applicable jurisdiction.
